Very nice. There is a lost appreciation for the daybreak hour. My neighbor goes to our county park on the Gulf at dawn and takes photos of wildlife, birds of all types. I listened to the piece with a set of full, over-the-ear headphones. There's quite a bit there. You can hear the distant hum of a ship's diesel engines. Our house is about 6 miles from the Skyway shipping channel which opens to the Gulf. In the middle of the night I can hear that same hum penetrating the night as I lie in bed. The channel has buoys in place to the last one 15 miles out, called the Whistler. It makes sound from wave action and a float that forces air in a chamber. On a foggy day or night, you can steer your boat in circles, and the waves will cause it to blow and identify its direction. Find it and head east to get back home.
